Once upon a time I had two children and they came to work with me every day . . .  We lived on site at a storage facility and I was working there part time as the office manager. I didn’t really enjoy my job (but we got FREE rent soooo). But I daydreamed about all […]

Ashley - I feel like I could have written this. This is totally me right now. I don’t want to go back to work, but am struggling being with my kids ALL THE TIME. I sent the baby to my MIL today while my older one was at school and it was amazing to get work done with a quiet house 🙂 And I was happy to spend time with my kids when they got home!ReplyCancel

hannah.cross21@gmail.com - YES! I think every mom feels this way at least one time or another in her parenting journey. It has been so much better for our family to schedule this time in regularly for us. I hope you can find a balance and let go of the guilt you might still be holding on to for feeling this way… it is COMPLETELY normal 😉ReplyCancel

Stephanie Woodward - I LOVE this. So much!! It’s so very true. Sometimes I think of giving up photography because there doesn’t seem to be enough time for everything, but then I remember that I will go crazy. Lol. Really though! I couldn’t agree more.ReplyCancel

February’s installment of “Documenting our Days” blog circle. The kids ended up getting muddy and we were all so hangry that we grabbed pizza on the […]

“It’s too hard; I can’t do it!” Those are the words she screams as she throws down her pencil and buries her face in her hands. I gently stroke her hair and tell her it doesn’t need to be perfect, I just want her to try her best. Even at the young age of 6, […]

Amber - Beautiful words from a beautiful person! I struggle with this too! Funny how we can be so compassionate to others but not as compassionate to ourselves. Definitely something to work on! <3ReplyCancel

hannah.cross21@gmail.com - Thanks so much for your sweet comment Amber! And yes, it is a struggle but I think recognizing it is the first step to being more compassionate to ourselves.ReplyCancel

Another round of the blog circle! Our 3pm starts out pretty quiet. The babe usually has just gotten up from her nap and wants to nurse and sometimes just hang out on the couch with me. When the other girls come upstairs after their rest/quiet time we do snacks. My hubby was doing homework in […]

hannah.cross21@gmail.com - Thank you so much for your sweet words Courtney! And you should do this for your family! I am constantly taking photos of my girls around the house but this project has forced me to document things I wouldn’t normally take the time to photograph.ReplyCancel
